The Moadim in Mikra: Exploring Pesach and Shavuos through Krias HaTorah and Haftara This course will explore the moadim of Pesach and Shavuos by examining their original sources in Torah and Neviim. By delving into the texts that are read during these festivals we can learn about topics such as: Pesach as an antidote to idolatry, the simple function of Sefiras Haomer, the fundamental principles of Emuna,the importance of the Korban Pesach, the role of Pesach as a paradigm for the ultimate redemption, the role of the Aseres Hadibros, and many more.
