Emes L'Yaakov on Sefer Melachim

Service Description

This course explores Sefer Melachim through the distinctive interpretive approach of the Emes L'Yaakov by Rav Yaakov Kamenetzky zt"l. Students will develop a deeper understanding of both the profound themes and compelling narratives within Sefer Melachim, while gaining insight into Rav Yaakov's unique parshanut methodology. The course is taught by Rav Yitzchak Shurin, Rav Yaakov's grandson, who received his derech halimud directly from his illustrious grandfather. Students will encounter innovative peshat interpretations that illuminate the text of Sefer Melachim in new and meaningful ways. Recordings will be available for this course.
